Tsernovo is a wine produced by the Ktima Tseou winery, located in Fyteia, in northern Greece. There, at a 450 metre altitude, a variety of grapes is biologically cultivated. The older name of the village was Tsernovo, from the words "tserno" and "vino", meaning black wine, because of the renowned dark red wine its vineyards produced. While maintaining tradition, Ktima Tseou adds a white wine to its repertoire and produces wine rich in flavor, aged in wooden barrels.
